Waterlines, 2019, Laura Wills and William Cheesman

Commissioned by The Hutt Community Centre Aldgate in 2019. Waterlines project set out to explore the historic and contemporary Peramangk connection to Adelaide Hills waterways through contemporary drawing, interactive site specific ephemeral art and collaborative storytelling. This project was a collaboration between Ivan Copley, Peramangk Elder and storyteller, Laura Wills, visual artist and secondary school students from Heathfield High School. The project's aims were to bring people together during special public events that connect us to the local environment. Exploring ideas of responsibility, connection and relationship we have to nature.
