Find and Leap is a contemporary mural focused on cricket and football that incorporates history and imagery about these field sports. A map legend is used to form the base for an interactive artwork. The map key, or legend is used to interpret the artwork and offer more information about the elements through various hidden pictures that can be found in the mural. Community members are encouraged to search, look and find. This interactive game creates an easily accessible way for people to learn stories, gather information and connect with the mural. The graphics include: balls, bats, stumps, hats, protection gear, dog jumping, women in sport, possums, a kookaburra, and native vegetation. The background imagery in the mural is taken from the immediate surrounds of the mural site, linking it with its environment.
