Celebrating the proud farming history of Murray Bridge, this artwork’s form reflects the shape of a river red gum leaf, as a canvas for a series of local images and stories representing agricultural land use. The work is underpinned by local Ngarrindjeri artist Kevin Kropinyeri’s design contribution of patterning in the river and the cultural statement that “the river is the lifeline of the land and people”.
